The SoapAmarket is a Black owned skin-care business created to provide a healthier choice of products for the skin. Our products are handcrafted using high-quality natural ingredients such as organic olive, coconut, jojoba and grapeseed oils and unrefined shea, mango, and cocoa butters in our products.

 

As owner of The SoapAmarket, since a young child, my skin has always been extra sensitive to using commercial “soap”. I would immediately break out in extreme skin rashes and severe irritations. I never understood why I couldn´t use the bar soap that everyone else in my family could. As an adult, I decided to do research to find out why this was happening.

While it´s known that the chemical ingredients that are used in commercial "soap" are harsh to our delicate skin and can cause irritation, my research revealed commercial companies that make "soap" remove and sell the natural glycerin that is produced in their products and replaces it with synthetic ingredients. Glycerin is a natural component that produces a milder soap meant to gently moisturize and cleanse which allows the skin to retain moisture. Our soaps retain all the natural glycerin that is produced when making handcrafted natural soaps providing you with a better-quality choice for you and your family´s skin.
